Abbey Medieval Festival Photography 2009

Journal Entry: Tue May 5, 2009, 6:29 PM
This year any photographers wishing to join the photographic team for the Abbey Medieval Festival will be reporting to Steve aka :icongreykonos: and his journal detailing info is right here: [link]

I'm actually not shooting this year as I have been roped into performing! I'll be working with the Knights Order of Lion Rampant in C14th gear and performing on the Saturday night of the event as 'Death', and yes, I laughed my ass off when that role was offered. Historically accurate C14th performance playing the part of Death. All those years as a goth will finally pay off. haha
So this year I will most likey be copping a hammer to the head courtesy of Damien (see centre of this image - he's just copped one to his own head here, nice hit Garth) [link]

Reminding you that I'm best contacted via my own site Mark Greenmantle Photography: [link]

I blog more often on my news page which is fairly new and I'm about to really get my teeth into it now that the software is working smoothly so please subscribe to the RSS there: [link]

had a fun time last night... what I can recall of it anyway. I did manage to bash my head badly against the low door frame backstage at Blink but was pissed enough to keep enjoying the night... possibly too much heheh

How was your NYE?

aweful. was with a friend who insisted on fireowrks in south bank, so got caught up in the massive crowd tip-toeing across victoria bridge, and then walking in the heat for 45 minutes to get to the family where i was too tired to do much, and certainly not pissed enough, and at 1am never would be. and then to top it off the nightlink bus took over and hour to get home. spent more time walking and falling asleep than partying!3 hours of sleep, then off to work :P

next year is definitely a house party with lots of wine: in my experience the only way to welcome the new year. :D

o well, happy new year!

I am so glad I just went to work instead. Bonus pay and lots more free drinks rocked. Even now, a week later my head still hurts where I smacked it into the top of the door backstage though. Bastard bruise!!
