Pan Welcomes His Moon - day three
I was throwing around ideas for my collab with when I started this sketch... it's evolved into this in under a day just airbrushing with the tablet. So it wont likely see the other end of a collab but I am at least enjoying this.

Far from finished yet but feel free to give suggestions. Just added more folliage... and there's lots more to go. :faint: if I can get this finished in one week, I'll be so happy :w00t!:

I've had some fantastic suggestions so far, thankyou to all those for the help. :boogie:

I was so tempted to use a photo of the moon but then it'd be mixed medium or simply back to being a photomanip.. so I'll have to just slowly respray it and either a bit darker or with more light shed around it through the clouds... since it is the only source of light, to have any foreground detail that moon will have to be bright for reflections to be sharp.

Maybe add a bit more crater goodness to the moon?

there's maybe a bit much cloud in the upper right, but other than that it looks good!

It seems too dark, even with my gamma way up. While the night feeling is important, I am missing a lot of the details simply because I can't se them.
Your clouds are gorgeous! I think those are pan's horns that the moonlight is glinting off of, very nice. Maybe the moon needs craters or something. Maybe that's what makes it seem flat. Let's see it later.

Damn it I had this nice long comment and it decided to go away. Try this again. I like the bottom half although it does seem a little dark. The clouds look great, but the moon looks like a big shiney coin.
